Miscellaneous Information

My name is Severin Sendlhofer, I come from the beautiful 'Salzkammergut region, and I completed my studies in "Industrial Environmental Protection and Process Engineering" at Montanuniversität Leoben, focusing on plant engineering and simulation in chemical engineering. As part of my bachelor's and master's theses, I explored the methanation of various gas mixtures (CO2/CO, biogas, and pyrolysis gas), potential reactor concepts, and catalyst materials.

Since December 2024, I have been working as a doctoral researcher at the institute, focusing on sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs). My main area of research is the conversion of short- to long-chain alcohols (C3+) into synthetic kerosene.
